Adelaide is the capital of South Australia. Traditionally the land of the Kaurna people, it is known as the Adelaide plains. Today Adelaide is home to a multicultural community. It is surrounded by our wine regions, the Barossa Valley, the Clare Valley, McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills. The city centre features Adelaide’s main shopping district Rundle Mall. It is home to the Entertainment Centre and the Adelaide Zoo. The river Torrens flows through the CBD. It is nearby various beach fronts such as Glenelg, Semaphore and Henley Beach. It is also home to the Fleurieu Peninsula.
